Who cares?

There is some speculation about the flip out of MSNBC's anchor Mika Brzezinski had when she had just about had enough of reading news about Paris Hilton and that her reaction of shredding the paper the news item was printed on being faked.

Like...do we really care? There is a subtle message in the action alone, faked or not. WHO THE HELL CARES??? This is Paris Hilton. Spoilt little rich girl who for once in her life got treated like everyone else who dosent have the money she does or the fortune she does. And she was released in the dead of night to a media scrum and a paparatzi hijack not too dis-similar to the one that may have killed Princess Dianna. What a flippen great big deal.

The literal media scrum around Paris was leading news. Never mind about the double homicide, never mind about people freezing in the south...Paris Hilton, leads the news in New Zealand, a place where she never really matters in the first place.

While I find it funny that a business man and a 'working lady' went down a side of the Port Hills in the blizzard like conditions, I find it funny that people having a serious accident like that played second or even third fiddle in the news to the release of Paris Hilton.

Can you imagine if she was released, and the recent bombings in the UK were a secondary news item to Paris Hilton walking out of jail in the dead of night? Come on media guys. News worthy things please.
