Sometimes Capital Punishment is Appealing

You know there are times when I think capital punishment is a worthwhile idea. Especially on the heals of that senseless killing of Tokoroa teacher. That just simply deserves something more than the normal 16 years life sentence and spending the rest of my natural life behind bars at the tax-payers expense.

For a while at least it will be a deterant to people considering being that dumb. Yeah, I'm tough, I can hammer in the head of a sixty five year old woman while shes in her room preparing for the next school term. All alone. Defenseless. YOUR TOUGH BRO!!!

Lets see how tough you are.

Its instances like this, and perhaps even the killing of the baby Kahui twins not too long ago that make me think, maybe capital punishment should make a come back for these types of crimes. No name supression, no protection from PC laws. You be the criminal who does this kind of crime and its proven far beyond reasonable doubt...the chair, the squad, the injection, the noose. Which would it be? In our PC world...who knows.

But perhaps its time to re-introduce this discussion into New Zealand law. Maybe a thought.
