Makes you think!!!
Some thoughts from last year.
You know, I'm not a conspiracry theorist or subscribe to many of those did we land on the moon, or who killed JFK kind of things but the arguments brought about mostly in the Loose Change, second edition regarding the September 11 2001 attacks has been making me think quite a lot about what happened that day.
I remember it. Its not hard to forget. I was just leaving for work when I wanted to see what the weather was going to be like that day, when all I saw was the towers were on fire, then they collapsed. It wasnt a stretch of the imagination that a part of me felt that I had been attacked and my heart went out to the American people. I felt pride as President Bush at Ground Zero spoke to the workers there about what as going to happen next.
But I have to wonder at the 'thoughts' posed by the group who did the Loose Change documentry. Why when jet fuel cannot get so hot to vaporise a plane was there nothing, like the engines at the Pentagon, or in Shanksville. If the South Tower was clipped the way it was, unlike the North Tower which was hit square on, why did the South Tower come down first, and when it did, go straight down? In fact, why did both Towers go straight down?
When you look at Shanksville, why was there no trace of the plane? Why was there no trace of the plane when every other crash site like it has cockpits, wings, tail sections, engines and last and most grusomly, bodies.
