I'm all for the little guy

You know, I'm all for the little guy taking a stand, but at a time and at a crucial time of local body politics, I think the general public would like to hear from the people who have a real shot at making the decisions, rather than some idealists who if they got in to the mayor's office might get shot down by the council at every turn.

Hence why I think that, all good for Mr Suresh Vatsyayann in taking a stand, but to lay on your back and kick and scream and rant like a spoilt brat kid because the big kids wouldn't let you play? Come on man. Why on hell's boiling rocks would I want to vote for you now? Are you going to do this if you get onto council and they shoot you down? Man alive.

This is hardly the racial discrimination shown by the British to the Indian people. If it were, wouldn't they have shot you? Forgive any insensitivity, but wouldn't they have? I think Bryce Johns is right on the money. "The actions of Suresh Vatsyayann showed a lack of class and leadership, while the schoolboy egging on by Joseph Mooney would have been more appropriate in his university class."

You are both standing candidates and I respect that. In reality, for me picking a mayor that's not Mike Redman is going to be a lesser of three evils...the three who have a real shot at the job. But I don't want spoilt, dummy spitting children on council, we have enough of those in Parliament, and we don't need them in our local council chambers. I want people who have a voice, can speak it but when things do not go their way, don't roll on the ground acting like little kids who weren't allowed in the sand pit.

Unfortunately, looking at all reality, Messes Mooney, Wikiriwhi, Harris and Vatsyayann polling less than 1% in the overall scheme of things, won't get the mayor's chains. So, if I were to arrange a meeting of the kinds reported on, I wouldn't want to hear from 4 people out of 7 who aren't in all likelihood going to make it to the job. I've read Mr Mooney's self profile and I an many others spoke to him at the Frankton Markets. I think he has vision, and confidence. Potential is certainly there, I was impressed, not vote turning, but I was impressed. Keep at it. who knows, the next one may do it, or get you closer. But come on Doc. I don't know what you hoped to gain from your little rolley polley.

Like I said, Mr Chesterman, Mr Simcock, and Mr Hennebry. For me, it will be the lesser of three evils. Much like the last US Election, George W. Bush V Senator Kelly. Better the devil you know, than the devil you don't.

I don not blame you whosoever you are. I am sure eyes can't see what mind doesn't know. If you do not know where you want to go, it doesn't matter what road you take. Its a pity you do not know there is something known as democracy, the one that in NZ gave women a right to vote. I also know that you don't know that ignorance of ones ignorance is a disaster. Moreover doing the same thing over and over again is stupidity ....but how would you know ...meet me if you can ...it might give you some worthwhile wisdom. The politicians you talk about (the ones that are lesser of the evil for you, anyone could become). The qualities of a politician loved by people like you are as follows (not the ones that follow the following):

If you did not know, I am also a politician

As any politician I grab every opportunity to get advantage for self

Contrary to my character, I am nice, humble and kind while seeking your vote

I will promise most things at this time

I know minimal in real life

In fact as a politician I have minimal to do in real life except to take advantage of your ignorance

I could spend heaps to get your vote as I can recover it once elected, and I am tempted, I may change my portfolio to be the Deputy CEO of the council earning 4 times the amount I will get as the Mayor of the city. Moreover there will be no objection from the people or the counselors. My job will become permanent and present and future counselors will then remain in my pocket, will sing praises of my stewardship

Please, please, please vote for me. If you don’t, I am a politician, I have done nothing worthwhile that will secure me a job

I promise, once elected I will not serve you but rule people, people who my predecessors have programmed to learn that politicians are rulers and not the servants of society

I am a politician, I could contradict my own statement in the span of one speech. People have short memory, they wouldn’t even notice it

People have forgotten what a politician or a Mayor stands for. They easily start believing it is a street, a manhole, a 'rate' that matters. Some even believe that being thrown out of a meeting by Waikato Times unlawfully is what a mayoral candidate stands for.

People forget it is the wise and proportionate use of taxes for the direction a true Mayor sets. As no Mayor in the past has set a clear direction, vision and mission that flows through certain guiding principles to yearly goals and objectives, people think a Mayor is someone a little more intelligent and more famous via large bill boards than the counselors do. They think a Mayor is a person who keeps patching up the damages done in the past and during his/her tenure as a Mayor.

I do not know how, but I am going to try and tell you all today what a Mayor stands for.

A Mayor sets an all-encompassing direction for the city, a direction that becomes its vision, and a vision that every one has a definite reason to follow with a personal and collective mission. People of all cultures, religions, education, financial and other backgrounds, would love to follow that mission as it will work towards a collective vision, not a vision and mission that people or counselors could argue on, a vision that will lead the city in one direction.

I do have such a vision, a vision of Hamilton being ‘the most livable city’, a vision that demands a mission of promoting and facilitating those actions that establish a social, economic and physical environment conducive to ‘better, safer and healthier’ Hamilton.

The following is just the beginning for all this to happen:

1. Decent minimum standard of housing and living
2. Safe roads walks and cycle tracks
3. Zero tolerance to crime and drugs
4. Use of taxes wisely and proportionately for Infrastructure development, for social development and for cultural development
5. Participation of youth, tangata whenua and forward thinking people from various cultures in decision-making
6. Action to make life of poor and suffering, and our senior citizens worth living with comfort and dignity

I still love you ...thats my nature ...won't blame you if you hate me as that might be your nature or result of your ignorance
What I do under the influence of my nature, I do not do it to satisfy you or someone else ...I love what I do and there are many a people who love and respect what I do, thats how and why I have always been successful in seving the society unconditionally ...peoples love is my strength, and so is opposition of people like the editor of Waikato Times ....

We at the Family Clinic- te whare hauora whanau have had 66000 consultations for free in Hamilton within the last 3 years (2nd of October Mahatama Gandhi's B'Day)...and thanx for the support and help yo you and Hamilton

Do not have to believe me, but I love you all unconditionally and stand for true liberty and dignity for all ...and will do whatever it takes to restore it, by Gods Grace, however!!!!

Regards

Some how doc...if you get to read this, for someone so qualified and "wise" you sure are being accused of doing some really dumb things.

I hope...that for the sake of your paitents, and for your career they are not true.

Oh...and FYI, I opted not to vote.
