So...Commodore Frank Bainimarama is considering 'retaliatory action' against New Zealand for its economic and political sanctions against Fiji because of his coup. Can you just hear the knocking of the knees and the trembling in our boots. YEAH RIGHT!!!
Who the hell does this man think he is? Fidel Castro? Saddam Hussien? Osama Bin Laden? Now if someone like that said those words...yeah ok...but Franky? Your not the primary importer of New Zealand products...a player no doubt, but refusing to take in NZ products because we have sanctions against your people travelling here, woohooo...we're sorry.
It seems that one of the people installed to office by the coup leader was refused entry into New Zealand because of his place in the current administration and the sanctions imposed by New Zealand and other nations. SO...Mr Bananarama has seen fit to counter with threats like and I quote "Cdre Bainimarama has said New Zealand's hundreds of millions of dollars worth of exports to Fiji could be put at risk because of New Zealand's stance against his administration." THEN, "...on Friday Cdre Bainimarama warned that Australia and New Zealand had chosen to work against Fiji, and if they continued to ignore and frustrate his administration, there would be a series of retaliatory measures." You are an illigitimate leader of a nation devoid of political integrity right now...shown more so by this baby like temper tantrum you are having. So what if Ousted Fiji Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase was the silent runner of the George Speight fronted coup, he was a democraticly elected officer, where as you came to power with guns.
These comments by Bainimarama do nothing more than to fuel an already held opinion. I have to admit now that mine has gone against old Franky when it was once with him. I do now consider him in the same frame as, clown, fool, idiot, and I await the retalitory actions, the 21 coconut salute.
