Gee...did I hear right?
In listening to the news about the events of recent days, Dr Don Brash, the leader of the National Party in parliament, was commenting on the role the government plays in being accountable for the power failures and other massive problems facing our country.
You know what? He actually made sense. My gosh, I never thought I'd ever agree with him of all people.
Look at the track record of the government. Boast about the achievements, deny when problems come up and wonder who is responsible and demand answers. Not a good one. But then again, Dr Brash is the offially crowned King of the Flip-Flop. Is this a case of better the clown that you know than the one you can't believe?
I say, shoot them all, lets start again. Nah, even thats too radical. Hmmm...maybe a taste of the tazer when they get a bit too roudy in the house, with the speakers finger on the trigger. Hey, why not even micro-chip them? So we all know when to run when one of them comes to close. They might be a bit rabid. Who knows how dangerous politicians can be if they aren't controlled.
