New Years Reflections
I think its natural that at the end of the year that you look back on what you have done and what you have accomplished, what you lacked in accomplishment, what you did well, what you could have done better, the highs, the lows.
Looking back on the year we are extremely happy with the amazing progress with little Chantelle in the past year. Those who knew her a year ago find it hard to believe that this is the same kid...and so do we. On the flip side...the sad outcome of the first attempt with the IVF left us with unanswered questions and a six month wait for a further try.
Professionally the year went well. Substantial improvements were made and successful gains were achieved though there were those who managed not to see them or recognise them as there always will be.
I've never been one for making New Years Resolutions. I find that making resolutions place unneeded pressure on an individual that is not necessarily positive. All I've ever done is make a short list of things I want to resolve to do better at and work on them over the year.
So...I wish all of you a happy new year and the best of success in your endeavours. May this decade be one filled with joy, love and peace to you all.

- Communication - I've never been the best of communicator, especially when it comes to expressing feelings to those who it matters the most. This is something that needs to change, especially when it comes to my family.
- Physical goals - I'm not happy with my weight. Haven't been for a long time and this is something that needs to change for more than one reason. Personally, its becoming noticable and while I start the Weight loss programme through Waikato Hospital in February, things need to change.
- Attitude - To those who mean the most to me I have been a relative prick at times and that is being generous about my attitude. I bet at the best of times I could have rivaled the worst PMS of any lady and that needs to change. Perhaps there is some correlation between my physical feeling and my attitude...don't know...but its in need of an adjustment.
So...I wish all of you a happy new year and the best of success in your endeavours. May this decade be one filled with joy, love and peace to you all.
