Just one of those useless thoughts

Has anyone since the introduction of the new coins into circulation stopped to think about one little point, that in a moment of sheer mind-numbing brilliance came across my mind while travelling home from Wellington last week.

Which side of the new 20 cent coin is heads? Go on. I know if you have one that you are going to be looking at it...

One side is as it has always been, the head of the Queen. The other side though is that of a tiki (for lack of the correct name). I doubt that many would consider the tiki as a tail side being appropriate. So...one could say, that this is truely a two headed coin.

This eliminates it from anything that may resemble competitivness. It cant be used in a coin toss. Anyone who calls heads will be right. At least with the 50 or the 10 its still a 50/50 chance.

Just one of those useless thoughts to start the day.

I just want to know about all the food and drink dispensing machines around the country. Have these been changed over yet for the new coins? I really haven't heard much about the progress of these. And how do we know which ones have been converted over? The other day I saw a payphone somewhere which had a sign over it "This phone only accepts old coins" - but I haven't had any old coins in my wallet for about a month now.
